Sterilization Technician - Chalet Dental

Chalet Dental in Yakima looking for a skilled Sterilization Technician to join their team!

The Sterilization Tech will be responsible for infection control (providing sterile instruments), OSHA compliance and communicating with staff about the availability of supplies and instruments.

· Scrub and wash surgical instruments, containers, and equipment, such as aspirators and suction units

· Sterilize instruments, equipment, surgical linens, and supplies, such as surgical packs and treatment trays, using autoclave, sterilizer, or antiseptic solutions

· Prepare packs of supplies, instruments, and dressing and treatment trays, according to designated lists or codes, and wrap, label, and seal packs

· Store prepared articles and supplies in designated areas

· Fill requisitions, write charges, and inventory supplies

· Conducts spore testing on autoclaves and records results

· Log required information regarding the disposal of hazardous waste materials

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm

Pay Range: $17-$20

Requirements

Qualifications:

• RDA registration
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to multitask effectively
