Sterilizer Repair Techncian (Healthcare)

As we continue to grow, we are looking to expand our team with a skilled Sterilizer Repair Technician.

As a Sterilizer Repair Technician at MARS, you’ll play a key role in servicing and maintaining sterilization equipment used in healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining autoclaves and sterilizers—especially those manufactured by Steris, Primus, or Getinge.

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, preventative maintenance, and repair of sterilizers/autoclaves in healthcare environments


• Diagnose equipment issues and complete timely, high-quality repairs


• Maintain accurate service records and communicate updates clearly with customers and MARS support team


• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and manufacturer specifications


• Provide excellent customer service and build lasting relationships with facility staff

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of field service experience, preferably in sterilizer or medical equipment repair


• Strong preference for experience with Steris, Primus, or Getinge sterilizers


• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems


• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals


• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail


• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally or regionally as needed


• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred But Not Required:

• OEM certifications from Steris, Primus, or Getinge


• Experience with steam generators, washer/disinfectors, and related systems


• Background in hospital or surgical center environments
