Estancia Del Norte is seeking a dependable and hardworking Steward to support the kitchen and dining operations by maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient environment. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services while upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Where You Can Make an Impact

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, dishwashing areas, and storage spaces.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment, ensuring all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Assist kitchen staff by organizing and restocking kitchen supplies, including cookware, dishes, and cutlery.
• Ensure proper waste disposal, including recycling and composting, in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Support food preparation by cleaning and preparing workstations as needed.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, informing management of reordering needs.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, including the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness in other food and beverage areas as required.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Education/Formal Training:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Experience:

• Prior experience in a kitchen, food service, or hospitality environment is a plus but not required.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with kitchen and service staff.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move items for extended periods.
