Our Save A Lot began operations in 1990. We are a family owned licensee of Save A Lot and our second generation is currently operating the store. We, the owners, are in the store regularly. With your help we will continue to operate into the third generation and beyond. Come join the family.

Job Summary

The store clerk reports directly to the store manager and indirectly to the assistant store managers and shift leaders. This position is responsible for duties such as stocking, cleaning and monitoring perishables. The store clerk provides excellent customer service and assists in maintaining excellent daily store conditions.

Responsibilities

Stocks product on platforms, shelving, peg hooks and in baskets or refrigerated cases as needed

Checks dates on product and rotates product as needed.

Stocks product neatly and makes sure product is placed above correct price tag

Handles power and non-powered equipment, pallet jack, and hand tools to move stock as needed after properly trained

Assist in unloading trucks

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age

Proven, efficient retail sales experience; experience in dry grocery, perishable, general grocery, and excellent customer service preferred

Ability to regularly lift 50lbs

Compensation: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
