Provider Contract Food Service specializes in providing culinary and hospitality excellence to our clients for the past 20 years. Our location at Arizona Christian University in Glendale, AZ, is currently looking to build our Food Service Team in the position of Stock Clerk.

Summary

The primary objective of this position is to process all incoming orders and deliveries to ensure items received match invoice and transport product to and from other locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

• Verify packages according to order and invoice
• Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt 
• Responsible for stocking and keeping all walk-ins and storage areas clean and organized using FIFO
• Stock all deliveries and allocate them to their designated place 
• Arrange product for easy inventory or reordering on non-delivery days 
• Break down all boxes and place in the compactor
• Keep all storerooms, walk-ins and hallways free of clutter and product off the floor at all times
• Keep the back dock clean and organized
• Ensure all bread and milk crates are stacked and ready for return
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; pulling or pushing, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
