Job Description - Stockroom Associate

Parallel Employment Group in partnership with an aerospace manufacturing customer in East Aurora is looking for Stockroom Associates to join our team. As a Stockroom Associate you will support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will manage inventory, assemble production kits, and ensure accurate tracking of all materials. The ideal candidate is reliable, efficient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

Shift Availability: 1st and 2nd shifts.

Pay Rate: $18.50 to $24.50 Depending on Experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure materials are stored properly and easily accessible for production needs.
  • Process material requisitions in accordance with production requirements.
  • Maintain First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory control and lot traceability.
  • Verify all required materials are available and properly labeled before distribution
  • Perform PO Receipt and Inspect transactions
  • Identify material shortages and coordinate with the team lead to resolve issues.
  • Deliver materials to appropriate departments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Use the ERP system to manage inventory transactions in and out of the stockroom.
  • Generate and analyze various inventory reports for tracking and optimization.
  • Assist in process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain compliance with SOX / 404 internal audit controls and related documentation.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in inventory management, material handling, or stockroom operations (manufacturing experience preferred).
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, packing lists, and other inventory documents.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
