Stockroom Associate

Wilcox is a vertically integrated engineering and manufacturing company with a goal to do as much design, testing, manufacturing, and assembling in house as possible. Because of this, candidates must have a strong skillset with the ability to interface with all departments throughout the company on a daily basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position performs a variety of stockroom activities including, but not limited to receiving, kitting, order picking, outside service part fulfillment, printing and organizing work order paperwork and daily cycle counting. Must be a self-starter and perform job with minimal supervision.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive product and ensure that it is placed in the proper location within the stockroom. Maintain a clean work area and overall cleanliness of the stockroom. (i.e.: neatly organized, clean, and free of trash/boxes)
• Verify all counts before parts are transacted into software system. Address issues with appropriate personnel to their resolve.
• Ensure that customer orders are picked and labeled as required. Deliver to shipping department.
• Pull parts for work orders; ensure that transactions in software system are completed before kits leave area.
• Pull parts for outside service work orders; ensure that transactions in software system are completed before parts move to shipping.
• Fill material requisitions for Engineering and Production.
• Perform daily cycle counting and reconciliation.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, effectively work in a dynamic and driven environment.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere be acting and communicating in a professional manner as to maintain a positive relationship with co-workers and management.
• Adhere to safe work practices and comply with all Company policies.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Required:

• High School Diploma

Preferred:

• 1-3 years of stockroom experience.
• ERP/MRP experience a plus. (SAP software).
• Strong interpersonal skills. Need to handle multiple priorities between managers.
• Able to multi-task.
• Highly organized.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to work overtime, when necessary.
