The Storage & Backup Administrator is responsible for managing all centralized storage technologies, Backup Infrastructure and backup technologies. 

What will your job look like?

• Experienced Storage Engineer with thorough expertise in Storage planning, designing, administration. 
• Hands on experience on managing and maintaining enterprise class Storage/SAN/Backup   
• Engaging, creative and intellectually curious Storage Engineer who is passionate about cutting-edge technologies 
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with Storage and SAN environment 
• Must have hands on experience of Data Center Management with Storage, Server, SAN, Backup and Network infrastructure 
• Apart from Storage Administration you will be coding, scripting and automating Storage functions & monitoring to deliver, maintain and support business solutions for our customers is major advantage.
• Storage, SAN and Backup Project design- requirement gathering, feasibility study, Project Planning and implementation
• Creating Change Control documents and seamless execution
• Team member for On-call Production Support  
• Storage provisioning to Linux, VMware ESX hosts form Dell EMC Powermax, VMAX All Flash by using EMC Unisphere and Solutions Enabler Symcli 
• Timefinder BCV and snapclone scripting for SAN based Backups and reporting
• Creation of multiple zones from Fabric switches Cisco MDS Directors MDS for the host access to storage as well to the EMC Data Domain and HP SureOnce Virtual Tape Libraries

• Storage Area Networking (SAN) Design/Implementation
• Storage and Backup Plan/Design/Implementation
• Performance Analysis and troubleshooting  
• Dell-EMC, Hitachi, HP-3PAR, Infinidat Storage Administration
• MDS CISCO SAN Administration 
• Linux, VMware ESX Operating System Administration
• Disaster Recovery Design and Implementation
• Shell, Perl, Python scripting
• Certification with Dell-EMC, CISCO MDS SAN is advantage.

Good to have:

• Data Migration, Server Migration, Storage Frame Migration, SAN migration
• Disaster Recovery Design and implementation by using HP Data Protector and Commvault for data backup and EMC Data Domain, HP StorOnce, HP StorEver MSL Tape Libraries 
• Storage provisioning to Linux and ESX Hosts from Infinidat, Hitachi VSP, HP 3PAR.
