Store Associate

Accountability:  Store Manager or In-Charge

Status:  Part-Time (up to 28 hours); Non-Exempt

Purpose:  To operate register and assist in general activities to keep the store functioning smoothly.

Qualifications:  

• Experience in retail environment


• Good mathematic skills to be able to count out change


• Ability to be courteous and sociable to customers


• Ability to recognize follow store policies


• Dependable


• Integrity

Duties:

1. Provide an excellent customer service experience for everyone who enters the store.


2. Operate the register.


3. Be aware of customer entering and leaving the store, paying special attention for shoplifters.


4. Assist in keeping the store clean, stocked, and organized.


5. Assist with other tasks to keep store running smoothly.


6. Be part of staff meetings and team building.


7. Other duties as assigned.
