Store Clerk - Opening Mornings

Join the team at Gibbs Oil where we are currently seeking a dedicated Store Opening Clerk for our Colchester, CT convenience store location.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Managing cash transactions and maintaining the cash register.
• Opening the store and working the morning shift on a regular basis.
• Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a friendly atmosphere.
• Stocking shelves and ensuring the store is well-organized and clean.
• Completing shift paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• Performing regular cleaning duties to uphold store standards.

Requirements for the Convenience Store Clerk position include:

• Able to work early morning opening shifts.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
