Store Lead

Description

As a Store Lead, you're the right hand to the Café Manager and a steady presence for your team. You help drive the flow of the day, keeping service smooth, the café well-organized, and communication strong across the board. Whether you're leading a shift, mentoring new team members, or solving on-the-spot challenges, you're essential to the success of the shop.

Your Role at a Glance

• Act as a key point of contact between the Café Manager and team—sharing updates, relaying information, and making sure everyone’s on the same page.
   
• Take ownership of the café’s daily presentation—keeping the space clean, stocked, and inviting from open to close.
   
• Oversee and participate in regular cleaning routines to keep the café safe, tidy, and running efficiently.
   
• Jump into any role as needed—whether preparing drinks, supporting the front counter, or managing back-of-house tasks.
   
• Lead the floor during your shift: keep labor on track, monitor pace and quality of service, and ensure team members get proper breaks.
   
• Step in with confidence to handle customer concerns, always following our service standards and keeping hospitality top of mind.
   
• Maintain a sharp focus on food safety, cleanliness, and store organization—setting the tone for the rest of the team.
   
• Support onboarding and training for new team members, using our tools and checklists to help them feel prepared and welcomed.

Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Previous Customer Service experience 
• Able to stand for prolonged periods of time frequently
