Store Manager, Rochester

Overview

The Store Manager oversees the store’s daily operations and works with all employees to make sure the store runs smoothly and efficiently while providing a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Select, train, develop, mentor, and coach Department Managers in a manner that builds and sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover.
• Lead the store in all areas of operations including inventory, margins, sales per labor hour, customer service excellence, and financial performance.
• Maintain outstanding retail execution and customer service in the store.
• Review and monitor scheduling, purchases, and other expenses to ensure departments and store are within budget.
• Regularly inspect the store to ensure compliance with all programs and standards.

Desired Work Experience

• 2+ years in a leadership role
• Demonstrated success developing high-performance teams
• Operations experience in: Inventory, labor management, cost control
• Managing P&L

 The ability to perform the job requirements required with or without reasonable accommodation

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge and proficient, safe operation of a forklift
• Ability to operate other equipment within the department
• Ability to stand or walk for duration of shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs or ladder.
• Ability to reach above shoulder height frequently.
