We are seeking an energetic and motivated Store Manager to lead daily travel center and convenience store operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who is passionate about team development, operational excellence, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, leading and developing team members, driving financial performance, and ensuring the location consistently delivers high standards in customer service, cleanliness, food safety, and operational execution.
Position Overview
The Store Manager plays a key leadership role in creating a positive work environment while ensuring operational success and guest satisfaction. This position is responsible for managing store performance, coaching employees, maintaining operational standards, and supporting company initiatives and goals.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
Recruit, train, coach, and develop store team members and leaders
Foster a positive, engaging, and team-oriented work environment
Create schedules that support operational needs and staffing efficiency
Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management
Lead by example while promoting company culture and values
Guest Experience
Ensure all guests receive friendly, fast, and professional service
Promote a welcoming environment that drives guest satisfaction and loyalty
Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Support team members in delivering an outstanding customer experience
Store Operations
Oversee daily convenience store and food service operations
Ensure operational standards, food safety, cleanliness, and merchandising expectations are consistently maintained
Monitor inventory levels, ordering, stocking, and product quality
Maintain clean and organized food service, sales floor, and restroom areas
Ensure all safety and operational procedures are followed properly
Financial & Business Performance
Support achievement of sales, labor, expense, and profitability goals
Review operational and financial performance to identify improvement opportunities
Help manage budgets, inventory controls, and cost-saving initiatives
Ensure accurate cash handling and operational reporting procedures
Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and local/state regulations
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for guests and employees
Support safety programs and operational best practices throughout the location
Additional Responsibilities
Support company promotions, initiatives, and operational goals
Assist with merchandising, quality control, and operational audits
Perform additional duties as assigned by district leadership

Qualifications
Previous retail, convenience store, travel center, or food service management experience preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to motivate and develop teams in a fast-paced environment
Experience managing operations, labor, inventory, and customer service performance
Knowledge of food safety, merchandising, and operational standards preferred
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Requirements
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required
Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced operational environment
