Storekeeper

The Storekeeper located in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska is responsible to execute product and material handling and movement within the warehouse in compliance with established policies, procedures, and standards. They inspect and accept incoming shipments against supplier packing lists, ensuring items have been received in a satisfactory state. They complete material fulfillment upon Division request.Key Indicators\u25aaHousekeeping in warehouse and goods shipping/receiving area\n\n * Comply with applicable company policies including, but not limited to, personnel and QHSE.\n * Perform inspecting, labelling, receiving, storing, picking, packing, issuing, disposal and cycle counting of inventory items.\n * Accept supplier deliveries, checking that actual item received are in suitable condition and match the packing list and/or purchase order and report discrepancies in a timely manner.\n * Ensure outgoing inventory items are suitably packed and issued with correct and complete documentation.\n * Improve efficiency and safety by optimizing warehouse bin locations.\n * Maintain a high level of housekeeping within the warehouse and shipping/receiving areas.\n * Perform inventory cycle counting and support periodic physical counts.\n * Perform tasks associated with Kitting and Kanban point-of-use replenishment and other materials management initiatives as directed by the Supervisor.\n * Investigate and resolve local inventory and warehouse issues as requested by the Supervisor.\n * Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and standards.\n * Operate a forklift or other materials handling equipment upon completion of training and certification.\n * Perform other duties as assigned.\n\n\n\n# Qualifications and Minimum Requirements\n\n * High school diploma or GED required\n * Technical or vocational training in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations is a plus\n * 1\u20133 years of experience in warehouse, inventory control, or materials management preferred\n * Experience with receiving, issuing, and storing materials\n * Familiarity with inventory counting and stock reconciliation\n * Basic knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP such as SAP or similar)\n * Ability to use barcode scanners and warehouse management systems\n * Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, email, data entry)\n * Material receiving and inspection\n * Stock storage and binning practices\n * FIFO / FEFO inventory methods\n * Cycle counting and physical inventory processes\n * Basic warehouse safety procedures \n * Attention to detail \n * Organization and time management\n * Communication and teamwork\n * Reliability and accountability\n * Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and safe material handling\n * Compliance with company procedures and documentation requirements\n\n\n\nMust have the legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. \n
