Storekeeper B (TERM)\n\nJob ID: STORE013885 \nJob Title: Storekeeper B (TERM) \nLocation: 58 RESOURCE LANE, FOSTER, WV 25081 \nUnion: CWA 2007 - WV - CBA 142 \nHiring Manager: James Hiser \n# of Openings: 1 \nPosting Dates: 3/18/26 \nWage Range: $723.50 - $1,510.00 per week\n\nPLEASE NOTE: You are being hired with the express understanding that employment will terminate upon the completion of the continued fiber build project in WV, which is expected to be 6 to 30 months.\n\nGeneral Duties: \nDuties generally include but are not limited to: \n\u2022 Ordering, receiving and taking inventory of supplies, cables, materials and tools. \n\u2022 Selecting, addressing (label) and staging supplies for \n\u2022 Identifying, staging, and preparing all supply material for returns. \n\u2022 Maintaining and adjusting supply center stock \n\u2022 Interpreting service \n\u2022 Performing general office functions, including verifying shipments for accuracy, documenting discrepancies and issuing \n\u2022 Performing housekeeping tasks both in the storeroom and outside in the cable \n\u2022 Loading and unloading cable reels and trucks, lifting large, heavy bulky material and equipment, weighing up to 70 lbs. \n\u2022 Operating manual or power equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hydraulic lifts, cable cutters and dock plates. \n\u2022 Driving a Company vehicle, may be required \n\u2022 Operating a personal computer (PC) or computer terminal to access multiple support \n\u2022 Telephone and face-to-face contact with clients and vendors to respond to or make routine inquiries regarding material shipments and customer \n\u2022 Maintaining records for mechanized order entry \n\u2022 Interacting with other departments, such as Outside Plant, Purchasing, Engineering and User Technical \n\u2022 Receipts for supplies, perform put-a-way of receipted\n\nBasic Requirements: \n\u2022 Must meet security standards as required. \n\u2022 Where driving is required, a candidate must have a valid state driver\u0027s license and satisfactory driving record.
