Headquartered in Midlothian, Virginia with a satellite office in Jacksonville, Florida, we make an impact throughout the southeast. This role will develop our business in Georgia.

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for the growth of the company’s Specialty Installation (Underground Detention, Liners, etc) and Maintenance (Stormwater Facility Inspection, Rehabilitation and Maintenance) Divisions in the Southeast. They have a strong understanding of the sales process from generating leads, to quoting and closing jobs, excelling at both verbal and written communication, building relationships, and what it takes to execute quality work. The Outside Sales Representative seeks to develop new customers and expand existing client relationships.?They must understand stormwater systems, how they function, and how to construct, inspect, and maintain them. They will assist in establishing Operations in the new Jacksonville location.

WORK LOCATION:?This opportunity is specific to Georgia and western portions of North and South Carolina; preferable candidates located northeast of Atlanta.

?RESPONSIBILITIES?

Build deep relationships with existing and prospective clients using meetings, referrals, lunches, calls, trade shows, participation in trade networks, and other methods to increase market share with each customer and expand on the suite of services provided to them.

Seek and follow-up on new opportunities by reviewing internal and external business leads.

Actively listen to clients, identify their problem(s) and present stormwater solution.

Identify new opportunities within the Southeast territory and establish an appropriate sales pipeline.?

Maintain multi-stage sales process for all opportunities in the Southeast territory.

Collaborate, train and learn from existing Outside Sales?team.

Maintain real-time, up-to-date visibility within the territory through the company supported CRM system including date entry, activity and good communication.?

Convert prospects and job leads into new customers and new sales by performing thorough inspections, completing required documentation, and ensuring prospects understand the process

Understand and improve pricing to maximize the value of the services provided.

Use our suite of business software / resources to pass on critical information learned during inspection and/or bidding to the Operations team to ensure efficient execution of the work.

Possess organizational skills sufficient to follow projects through the sales cycle.

Use knowledge of market opportunities to help build budgets and set expectations for the business.

REQUIREMENTS

Passion for the business, with a strong personal and professional interest in solving our clients’ problems.

Experience in construction as well as stormwater management, liner and containment and/or underground detention is beneficial.

Highly responsive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.?

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to read plans and perform simple take-offs.

Consistent and accurate use of various software packages to track leads and execute work.

A go-getter with strong leadership, organizational skills, and sales capabilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Open to internal and external training opportunities.

Valid driver’s license and positive driving record.
