Position Summary:
The Stove and Hearth Salesperson is responsible for engaging with customers to understand their heating needs and recommending suitable stove and fireplace products. This role involves maintaining comprehensive product knowledge, conducting demonstrations, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and a proven record of accomplishment in sales. Additionally, they will assist with inventory management, order processing, and provide exceptional after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Service: Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable stove and hearth products.
Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of all products, including features, benefits, and installation requirements.
Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations to highlight the functionality and benefits of various stoves and fireplaces.
Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets through effective sales techniques and customer relationship management.
Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels, ensuring that popular products are always in stock.
Order Processing: Handle customer orders, process payments, and coordinate delivery and installation schedules.
After-Sales Support: Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of sales experience, preferably in the home improvement or heating industry.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand and explain technical product details.
Sales Skills: Proven record of accomplishment of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
