Straightener Operator

As a Straightener Operator, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining straightening machines to ensure the production of high-quality metal products. This is a full-time, temporary role.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate straightening machines per production specs
• Inspect raw materials and finished products for defects
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain product quality
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and resolve production problems
• Maintain accurate production records and logs
• Perform routine machine maintenance
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Follow all safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with straightening machines preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read blueprints and production specs
• Basic math and measuring tool proficiency
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Physically able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime
