Job Description - Strategic Account Manager
Synectics Inc. is an established staffing company, based in Chicago, supplying contract labor and permanent hire placement services to its prestigious client roster of Fortune 1000 corporations.
We currently have several openings for the newly created position of Strategic Account Manager to expand our market reach in the U.S. and abroad.
This position will be responsible for securing new accounts by attending professional conferences, representing our company's history and capabilities, developing business relationships, contributing to the RFI and RFP processes.
Working with our large staff of recruiters for successful delivery of our staffing services.
Working in our fast-paced and structured environment remotely from anywhere in the U.S., dealing directly with client managers or their managed service provider (MSP) representatives.
Qualifications
3+ years of business-to-business sales experience
Strong cold calling skills
Sales experience within a vertical market (technology, finance, healthcare, engineering, life sciences, etc.)
Sales, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, results-orientated environment
Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
Excellent time management and self-motivation capabilities
Availability to travel to industry conferences and client meetings as needed (10-15%)
Effective oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, CRM
Experience using virtual meeting tools
4-year college degree preferred
