What you will do

The Strategic Account Service Sales Representative will be responsible for building strong client relationships within the largest National accounts within the Fire domain. Your primary focus will be to operate as a hybrid sales contributor for Johnson Controls Strategic Accounts Organization offering Sprinkler, Fire Alarm and Suppression Systems. Identifying, developing and closing incremental sales opportunities within the current customer base; as well as establishing new national accounts. Your focus on the penetration of existing customers through the sale of services and solutions. This person provides one point of contact for the customer organization; provides expertise and resources for Service offerings. And works closely with the Operational delivery teams to ensure all commitments are met or exceeded.

How you will do it

 

To be successful you will need to possess general knowledge of Fire Alarm and Life Safety Systems, and Maintenance Agreements.

 

Meet territory and service offering-specific sales goals to increase market share within the territory by selling across the Fire & Life Safety portfolio.

Develop and complete strategic account plans.

Drive sales for all services within assigned territory or set of key accounts.

Work to increase exposure to the customer C-suite in order to influence and provide customer value. Gain customer acceptance by explaining Johnson Controls value propositions.

Serve as a key team member to the sales and operations organization. Provide required input to all service or implementation efforts. Works with appropriate personnel in affected districts to generate proposals and deliver promised solutions.

Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to advise management’s strategic decision-making.

 

What we look for


Preferred

·        2+ years in a sales or other client service positions within a National Account hierarchy.

·        Ability to deliver results while working in a highly independent and fast-paced team environment.

·        Proficient at uncovering key issues and providing informative, useful recommendations for improvement.

·        Proven experience selling into the C-Suite, preferably early in the sales cycle.

·        Ability to communicate optimally with senior level leadership.
