Job Description - Strategic Accounts Sales Representative

About MyStudio

MyStudio is the leading SaaS platform for martial-arts studios, empowering instructors with class management, student engagement, and billing automation. We serve hundreds of franchise locations and independent dojos nationwide, and our AI-powered Amplify+ chatbot is driving unprecedented trial-to-member conversion rates.

Role Overview

As a Strategic Accounts Sales Rep, you will own both inbound franchise leads (sign up and upsell opportunities) and proactive outbound prospecting to bring new franchise locations onto the MyStudio platform. Reporting to the VP of Strategic Accounts, you’ll develop relationships, qualify needs, deliver tailored demos, and close deals that expand our footprint within existing partner networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inbound Lead Management: Respond promptly to franchise inquiries, build rapport, and guide prospects through qualification and product-fit discussions leading to closed sales
  • Outbound Prospecting: Research, target, and engage franchise decision-makers via cold calls, email campaigns, and social outreach to generate new pipeline leading to closed sales.
  • Solution Selling: Conduct needs assessments, deliver engaging product demos (including Amplify+ capabilities), and craft proposals that address studio pain points.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records and forecasts in the CRM—track activities, next steps, and deal stages to meet monthly quotas.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Marketing for campaign feedback, Account Managers for seamless hand-off post-close, and Product for feature requests driven by franchise needs.
  • Reporting: Provide weekly sales activity and pipeline updates; analyze win/loss data to continuously refine your approach.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales (inside sales, SDR/BDR, or AE roles), preferably in franchises or multi-location retail.
  • Proven track record of managing both inbound and outbound prospecting activities.
  • Strong communication skills—comfortable with phone, video-conferencing, and email outreach.
  • Ability to quickly learn product features and articulate business value.
  • Comfortable working to targets and KPIs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Hubspot preferred) and sales engagement platforms (e.g., Salesloft, Outreach).
  • Passion for martial-arts or fitness communities is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $45,000 – $55,000
  • On-Target Earnings: $56,000 – $69,000 (80%–20% base - variable split)
