Newport News, Virginia Overview The Analytic Manager reports to the Executive leader for the business unit and serves as a key member of the Executive's management team. This position facilitates, coordinates strategic analysis and planning while supporting operational excellence with planning, coordinating, and overseeing the execution of initiatives. The Analytic Manager provides Care Management expertise on population health initiatives across all divisions of the Health System and provides recommendations bases on analytic assessments. Serves as a champion of change management principles. Works corroboratively with key leaders and stakeholders in all RHS divisions to ensure departmental initiatives are synergistic and integrated to achieve enterprise clinical, financial, quality and satisfaction goals. Builds strong performance based relationships and manages through barriers to success while building processes and protocols to ensure continued sustainability of the program's initiatives. With general guidance and direction, the Analytic Manager is expected to function with initiative and independent judgment.
What you will do
Provides support and planning to help ensure Accountable Care Program sustainability. Supports performance monitoring and direction for improvement of Accountable Care operations related to Care Management. Analyzes business performance deviations and helps to drive action items and projects.
Ensures program sustainability across programmatic departments. Communicates to stakeholders using performance and outcome reports, budget performance metrics and prepares presentations when necessary. Monitors and measures business plan execution, processes, and outcomes against plans and benchmarks. Provides Care Management system support when appropriate. Analyzes business performance and performs root cause analysis of performance deviations and anomalies.
Provide data analysis and support to Population Health and Care Management programs. Serves as subject matter expert for population health analytics, registry use and care management workflow in the integrated health record. Partners with decision support and quality analysis to integrate payor data into care management and population health strategic initiatives. Research relevant trends and activities, identifies opportunities for improvement or enhancement to business processes, and performs business case analysis.
Implements varied projects, programs and plans that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals including development of metrics to report and monitor progress against goals.

Supervisory experience (Preferred)
Six Sigma Green /Black Belt / LEAN experience (Preferred)
