Your role at Clorox:

Are you looking to join a growth-oriented B2B business team and help shape the future of its Strategic Capabilities and Technology Roadmap? If so, this role is perfect for you.

As the Strategic Capabilities & Initiatives Leader, you will be responsible for the CloroxPro BU Technology Stack Strategy, governance, & future capabilities roadmap. You will provide direct and dotted line guidance to a team responsible for ensuring its technology platforms are built for the future, data governance is in place, and analytical support for the CloroxPro Business Unit is sufficient (B2B Business of the Clorox Company). Through your strong strategic business understanding and project management skills, you and the broader team will be the engine that helps run strategic initiatives (Technology & Capabilities) for the business and sets it up for continued growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring CloroxPro technology stack sufficiency for current and future needs to enable B2B Growth and appropriately integrated with Enterprise through a broad, indirect team. 

In this role, you will:

Tech Stack Strategy, Management & Budget Oversight:

·       Accountable for the Clorox Pro Technology Stack & Budget, and runs the CloroxPro Tech Stack Community of Practice

·       Responsible for integration & mapping future needs of CloroxPro within Technology Roadmap.  Liaison with other CloroxPro Teams and Enterprise Plans (Vista (ERP), Exceedra, Forge, etc) to drive integration between Clorox Enterprise and CloroxPro

·       Lead connectivity with Clorox Enterprise Product Owners, EDT, and CX for CloroxPro technology needs and workflows. Creates right points of engagement for strategic planning.

·       Collaborates with individuals/teams responsible for CloroxPro technology platforms to ensure current and future needs are defined, prioritized and resourced sufficiently (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, analytics tools), including support and structure when converting to and implementing new platforms and products (e.g, AI, Exceedra, Forge)

Data Strategy, Management & Governance Coordination

·       Coordinate with key Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure their needs are supported and priorities are established based on business impact.

·       Collaborate with key SMEs who are responsible for ensuring data integrity and integration across all systems.  SMEs will be responsible for enabling CloroxPro data fabric and connectivity to all relevant data sources

·       Ensure appropriate resources for governance and compliance around data and reporting (e.g., powerBI, ) within CloroxPro and connects with enterprise data governance 

Contributes to CloroxPro Culture, Provides Managerial oversight for Digital Capabilities Manager and Coordination with Indirect Team Members within Strategic Tech & Capabilities team as well as Business Unit

·       Advances team capabilities and drives integration with Sales Ops

This position will be located in our Pleasanton, CA office, and the individual will be expected to be in the office of 3 days a week.

We use broad salary ranges that reflect the competitive market for similar jobs, provide sufficient opportunity for growth as you gain experience and expand responsibilities, while also allowing for differentiation based on performance. Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $153,700 - $309,000

–Zone B: $140,900 - $283,300

–Zone C: $128,100 - $257,500

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
