About the Position:
We are looking for a Strategic Finance Lead, reporting to the Head of Strategic Finance and Risk to help drive our decision making and strategic direction at Parafin. If you are a self-starter who enjoys solving complex, multi-sided problems, come join us!

What You’ll Be Doing:
Support critical corporate finance processes including development of company budget, financial model, and board reporting

Support investor relations activities, including ongoing engagement and facilitating new investor diligence

Lead scenario planning to better understand risk-reward tradeoffs and present actionable recommendations

Collaborate with our data science team to develop company and product-level KPIs

Distill complex analysis and financial results into easily digestible reporting for Parafin’s Board of Directors and leadership team

Working closely with our Accounting and Engineering teams to build and improve our financial reporting and team operations

What We’re Searching For:
Best in-class modeling skills with a strong analytical mindset

Ability to distill complex analysis and financial information into digestible insights for non-finance audiences

You care deeply about the quality and correctness of your work

You take initiative and can own and drive large projects independently

You are comfortable with ambiguity and managing competing priorities

You are excited about working on a small team and setting the foundations for the finance team at Parafin

Excited by our mission and the challenge of working in a dynamic start-up environment

We Prefer If You Have:
5+ years of work experience across buy-side investing, investment banking, consulting, or corporate finance (e.g., strategic finance, corporate development)

Technology, Business Services, or FIG experience, with a preference for direct fintech exposure

Experience working in a high-growth organization on a scaling team

What We Offer
Salary Range: $160k -$190k
