Job Description - Strategic Pricing Lead

Strategic Pricing Lead

Remote - United States

Fortrea Patient Access is seeking a Strategic Pricing Lead to craft and implement pricing strategies. This pivotal role entails direct client engagement and necessitates collaborative efforts with our Sales, Finance, Contracts, and Operations teams in response to client needs. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service prowess, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to forge strong partnerships with both internal stakeholders and clients.

We are seeking a professional with a background in Commercial operations, Patient Access or Clinical Research Organizations (CRO) to enhance our team. This individual will collaborate with our accomplished and vibrant Commercial Development team, spanning the EU, US, and Asia Pacific regions. The role involves interfacing with various stakeholders, fostering strategic market competitiveness through astute price performance.

Our Commercial Development team plays a crucial role in the client's journey, from negotiating contract terms to devising pricing strategies, influencing every facet of operations, thus offering a role rich in variety and influence.

within the United States.

Responsibilities:

Formulate assigned budgets, incorporating appropriate rate cards, inflation, currency exchange rates, and other Master Service Agreement stipulations.
Conduct strategic evaluations and revisions of budgets, especially during the Challenge Call phase for designated budgets.
Actively participate in internal strategy and preparation meetings, including Strategy Calls, Challenge Calls, Bid Defense Preparation, Commercial Preparation, and more.
Coordinate with various support and specialty functions to amalgamate budget elements.
Perform on-demand analyses to assess the viability and profitability of integrating vendor or technological solutions into current processes.
Craft and negotiate strategies for commercial terms, including bonuses, penalties, and inflation adjustments.
Engage in and contribute to broader Commercial Solutions initiatives as needed.
Prepare presentations for Deal Review and Executive Sign-off sessions when required.
Represent the company in client meetings when necessary.
Execute additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:

A minimum required 3-5 years experience in budgeting and/or text development, or a combination of education and experience in CRO, pharmaceuticals, or related fields sufficient to excel in the role's essential functions.
Stellar customer service capabilities, acute attention to detail, and the tenacity to persist with diplomacy.
Proficient computer skills, particularly with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Familiarity with proposal management software (e.g., Salesforce.com, Qvidian, Proposal Automation tools) is advantageous.
Proven editing and writing expertise, tailored to meet the expectations of the specific business unit or team.
Demonstrated ability to organize, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
Strong team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and solid organizational abilities.
Verified capacity to operate autonomously; commitment to meeting deadlines; robust analytical aptitude.
Effective communication with internal stakeholders, clients, and senior management.
A positive demeanor coupled with a sense of urgency and flexibility to collaborate across various Business Units.
Capability to oversee limited team management tasks.
Willingness to work irregular and/or extended hours to adhere to client proposal timelines.

Pay Range:

$100,00.00 - $115,000.00
