THE POSITION
Under the Director of Yield Management, the Strategic Procurement Representative is responsible for carrier sourcing, development and retention. Heightened focus and responsibility on price discovery, contract negotiation, RFP’s and overall execution of new and existing business. The Strategic Procurement Representative will need to have a high-level understanding of interpersonal communication, both internally and externally.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Technology / Equipment: Experience with Microsoft Office – especially Excel and Outlook.
PERFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience / Training: 1 year of related experience.

Technology / Equipment: Experience with Transportation Management System (TMS).
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS
