Position Title:  Strength & Conditioning Specialist (SCS) 

Reports to: Operations Manager

Location: Selfridge Air National Guard Base, MI

Employment Status: Part-Time (at least 20hrs a week)

Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday; 8hrs per month on weekends for Reserve Drill Weekend

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary: Aldevra is currently seeking a qualified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (SCS). The SCS will provide targeted strength and conditioning services for military fighter pilots as part of the OHWS program at Selfridge ANGB. This role helps improve physical performance, prevent injuries, and support mission readiness.  The ideal candidate will already align with our core values of SOAR (Strong Integrity and Ethics, Outstanding Teamwork, Accountability-Driven and Relentless Pursuit of Quality).

This position is contingent upon contract award.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Perform initial physical evaluations and design individualized performance programs
• Provide approximately two (2) 30-minute SCS sessions per pilot per month
• Accept and accommodate walk-in appointments during scheduled work hours
• Monitor and adjust training plans based on performance and feedback
• Track participation and provide monthly reports, including “Pre-habilitative Trending Metrics” and biannual “Human Performance Metrics”
• Collaborate with AT/MT and medical team to support holistic pilot health
• All other duties as assigned

Security Requirements:

• Must be able to maintain government CAC.

This position requires passing an extensive background check.

Qualifications:

• Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)
• CPR/AED certification
• 2+ years of experience (preferred) with elite athletes, military personnel, or tactical professionals
• Must be physically able to demonstrate all exercises and techniques
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Valid driver's license
• Excellent and accurate written communication
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems; online calendars and cloud systems; intermediate to advanced skills Microsoft office products required
• Excellent attention to detail; accurate data entry
• Customer Focused and team-oriented work ethic
• Able to multi-task efficiently and accurately, focusing on quality
