Strong Middle/Senior Test Engineer (Online shopping platform)

CUSTOMER

Our Customer is based in the UK. The company owns a global marketplace for the fashion industry that allows users to sell customized or rare clothes and accessories. It provides a way to recycle unwanted items into money. 

PROJECT

The project is a social shopping platform – a mix of retail and social networking. Users have profile pages where they can post pictures and descriptions of items for sale, along with the price. Generally, the platform specializes in clothing retail. Posts can contain hashtags and additional information to make searching for items more comfortable. The main task is to provide users with the most evocative buying and selling experience. You will be responsible for integrating the payment system and working with accessibility features.

• Work as a part of product development team
• Closely collaborate with development team on the customer side 
• Follow and support quality assistance process
• Plan and estimate testing activities 
• Create test documentation
• Execute necessary tests for features (manual, snapshot, UI tests) 
• Perform manual functional, regression, and compatibility testing (web and mobile)
• Provide regular and clear status and progress reports

• At least 4 years of experience in quality assurance
• Experience and deep awareness in functional testing (test design techniques, change impact analysis, etc.) 
• Good understanding of IT systems and software
• Strong knowledge of Scrum and Kanban methodologies 
• Experience in testing iOS applications
• Upper-Intermediate level of spoken and written English
