Full service engineering firm with tradition and reputation that goes back over 40 years looking to add a Structural Bridge Engineer to their Novi office!
Responsibilities:
- Design/plan projects according to design specifications for a variety of bridge types (steel plate girder, prestressed concrete girder, and reinforced concrete slab structures)
- Ensure strength/safety of highway structures through structural analysis
- Prepare structural design/contract documents (drawings, specifications, and estimates)
- Assist with preparing project budgets/schedules
- Prepare bridge/transportation design calculations
Requirements:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering with a emphasis on structural engineering
- 4+ years of experience
- Experience using AutoCAD and/or specialized bridge design software
- Knowledge of Prestressed Concrete preferred
- Layout/design of bridges and highway structures expertise preferred
Salary is commensurate with experience.
