Structural Carpenters/Finishers

Felix Construction is seeking structural carpenters/Finishers to work in the water/wastewater construction industry.  The job involves general labor carpentry tasks such as setting edge and gang forms, tying rebar, smoothing and finishing poured concrete. Requires heavy construction carpentry experience.  All candidates must have a great attitude. Work is new build or upgrades to existing facilities.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform various physical activities such setting edge and gang forms and tying rebar


• Use hand and power tools such as a shovel, float, hammer, drill saw and plate compactor


• Cut and shape forms


• Measure, mark and arrange materials


• Level and smooth freshly poured concrete using straight edge, float or machine trowels


• Complete concrete placement and set grade


• Follow strict job site safety requirements

Who You Are

• Heavy construction carpentry experience required including experience with edge form and gang form systems, concrete pours, rebar, grades and layout


• Experience using hand tools and power tools required


• Ability to work outdoors on construction job sites in extreme temperatures required


• Ability to follow verbal or written instructions required


• Regular, timely attendance is required for this position


• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This position requires working on construction job sites in extreme temperatures. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and use hand tools associated with the construction industry. Specific vision abilities required include the ability to adjust and focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for long periods, walk, sit, kneel, bend, reach with hands and arms, hear, and talk.
