Structural Engineer

Our client is looking for a Structural Engineer their quality assurance team within the company. The professional section of the company takes care of a wide range of things, from assessments of deteriorating buidings, design and detailing of structural solutions within existing buidings, design and detailing of new building structures to foundation design and detailing, stabilization of foundations of structures, stabilization design and implementation of excavations and slopes, design and detailing of underground special Structures. ️

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of deteriorating buildings to identify and recommend necessary structural solutions.
• Design and detail structural solutions for existing buildings, ensuring safety and compliance with relevant standards.
• Develop and detail designs for new building structures, including foundations, ensuring stability and durability.
• Implement and design stabilization solutions for foundations, excavations, and slopes.
• Design and detail specialized underground structures, ensuring they meet required specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure quality and safety in all project phases.
• Perform quality assurance checks and reviews on design plans and construction work.
• Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Prepare and present detailed reports and documentation on quality assurance findings and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  
• Only open to candidates currently residing in Malta
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on structural design and quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
