Job Description - Structural Engineer

We are looking for an EIT-certified Engineer to develop designs, plans, specifications and cost estimates for small and mid-sized Structural projects. The position may supervise or serve as lead over a small group of employees.

Job Title:                        Engineer II or Engineer III
Location:                        Santa Ana, CA (100% Onsite)
Job Type:                       Permanent / Direct Hire

Responsibilities:

Support project delivery to the satisfaction of the clients

Perform projects strategically and aggressively so that projects and tasks are successfully completed in a logical and timely manner

Perform a variety of engineering tasks as required by management and the clients

Prepare accurate and quality work products

Take ownership of projects

Provide excellent client service by constantly demonstrating responsiveness and service orientation to the clientâs needs

Always communicate effectively with clients, staff, project team members, and public agencies on all issues

Work oriented towards results

Take steps in professional development, progressing towards getting professionally licensed

Know or can quickly learn how to model projects in 3D

Requirements

Education â Bachelorâs Degree, Civil Engineering preferred

Civil/Structural Engineering â 2 to 4 years for Engineer II; at least of Engineering design for Engineer III

License/Certification â Engineer-In-Training (EIT)

Computer Proficiency â MS Office, CADD/AutoCAD Civil 3D, Structural Analysis (for Engineer III)

Communication â Outstanding writing and verbal communication skills
