JCW has partnered with a growing Consulting firm looking to expand their Design team with a Structural Engineer. This person will be responsible for investigating and managing claims of construction defects.
This is a remote position requiring some travel around Sarasota County - must have reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
Assist staff in conducting condition assessments to determine necessary repairs of damaged structural systems
Develop project outlines for forensic investigations/ testing for construction claims
Work with attorneys in the preparation of construction defect claims
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
Professional Engineering (P.E.) license required, or must be Registered Architect
Proficiency in AutoCAD systems
