Structural Designer I 

Our Client is seeking a skilled and motivated Structural Designer I to join their Structural Engineering Department. Reporting to the Managing Director or Studio Director, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative structural design solutions for a diverse portfolio of projects.

Your Role

• Manage project engineering and perform routine design tasks, working with materials such as steel, composite design, reinforced concrete, precast concrete, post-tensioned concrete, tilt-up concrete, masonry, timber, light gage framing, and shallow/deep foundations.
• Create contract documents that adhere to relevant building and zoning codes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, review shop drawings, conduct site visits, and provide support to Project Engineers or Senior Project Designers as needed.
• Work independently on assignments with technical guidance on complex issues and supervisory approval for project plans.

What You Bring

• Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Structural Engineering.
• Experience: 0-3 years of structural design experience. New Grads welcome
• Skills: Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, and other structural engineering design software.
• Qualities: Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to excel in both independent and team-oriented environments.
• Preferred: Engineering licensure is a plus.
