Job Description - Structural Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic Structural Engineer with 5-15 years of structural engineering experience, who is a self-starter, responsible, honest, and a hard worker who can lead others in the same work ethic to join our team.

B.S. Degree in structural or civil Engineering or related field, and 5-15 years post-degree experience

Licensed Professional Engineer preferred, but not required

5-15 years of structural/civil design experience with all types of materials preferred. Materials include: wood, concrete, masonry, and steel.

Strong capability, experience, and knowledge in residential, commercial, and mixed-use structural design

Technical writing skills in letters, reports, and specifications of moderate complexity with minimal guidance from supervisor.

Exceptional organization and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and work under constrained deadlines

Good working knowledge of engineering software – Excel, RISA, AutoCAD, ENERCALC and others

Proficient in 2D and 3D modeling techniques and interprets the results of those models.

Ability to serve as project engineer for more complex assignments under direction of the project manager.

Compensation: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
