Structural Welders/Fitters

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including Flux Core and MIG.
  


• Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and requirements.
  


• Assemble metal components and structures according to design specifications.
  


• Utilize power tools and machinery safely and effectively.
  


• Conduct plasma cutting as needed for precise material shaping.
  


• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety protocols.
  


• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
  


• Conduct basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates.
  

Requirements

To be considered for this position you must meet the following requirements:

• Two years of proven experience as a Welder or Fitter.
  


• Two years experience of Flux Core or Mig welding.
  


• Be able to pass a welding/skill test.
  


• Proficiency in welding techniques and the ability to operate plasma cutting equipment.
  


• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
  


• Familiarity with power tools and machining processes is essential.
  


• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
  


• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
  


• Must have steel toe boots.
  


• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  


• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
  


• Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings including background check and drug test.
