Structural/Bridge Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage
  structural engineering project tasks including creating scope and budgets,
  directing the design, and coordinating work with other staff/design team
  members
  
• Sign/seal
  work as required
  
• Analyze/design
  transportation-related structures (bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and
  sign structure foundations)
  
• Serve
  as a key point of contact with clients, contractors, and local officials
  
• Assist
  with the preparation of engineering project proposals
  
• Collaborate
  with Leadership, Project Engineers, and other team members to develop
  effective solutions
  
• Ensure
  compliance with company safety procedures
  

Requirements

• Master’s degree in civil or structural
  engineering a plus
  
• 8+
  years of bridge design experience
  
• Registered
  PE
  
• IL
  Structural Engineer licensure preferred
  
• Experience
  leading a project
  
• Highly
  proficient with structural analysis and design software
  
• Strong
  knowledge of bridge construction materials (Steel, Cast-in-Place Concrete,
  Precast Prestressed Concrete), construction methods, structural
  inspections, and construction document preparation
  
• Proficient
  with MicroStation and ORD platforms
  
• Project
  Management experience with DOT clients
  
• Team
  Leader Bride Inspection certification preferred
  
• Eagerness
  to work on a wide variety of project types
