Structured Products Trader/Analyst

The Structured Products Trader/Analyst will be an important member of the Structured Products team, focusing on trading and analysis in Agency MBS, Agency CMBS and AAA ABS.

Primary Responsibilities:
Implementing investment decisions via primary and secondary markets.
Allocating trades across portfolios via careful, detailed allocations, consistent with client guidelines and portfolio targets across mandates.
Developing expertise with systems for trading and analysis, including Bloomberg, Charles River, and internal software.
Coordinating across departments to achieve efficient trade execution and compliance.
Communicating verbally and in writing with other traders, analysts, and policy committee members to provide updates on market developments and trade execution.
Monitoring valuation and fundamentals of existing and potential investments.
Developing and managing broker-dealer relationships.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with an excellent academic record.
3+ years of experience in financial markets. Experience trading structured products strongly preferred. Experience with Order Management System workflows a plus.
Strong time management and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to interpret and present data in a clear manner.
A desire and ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Experience and/or a demonstrated interest in investment analysis.
Reliable with a proven ability to work independently.
Excellent Excel and Bloomberg skills. Python, R, SQL skills welcomed.
CFA designation or established interest in obtaining the CFA designation.

The salary range for this position is $155k- $185k.

The listed pay scale denotes only the pay range of the base salary and does not include discretionary bonus compensation, which may make up an important portion of the total remuneration.
