As part of the mission of the Division of Student Experience this position contributes to the holistic education of all students by providing programs and experiential opportunities that advance student learning and engagement.
This position is responsible for curating a comprehensive and transformational student experience, including a diverse and dynamic calendar of activities and engagement opportunities that meet the needs and desires of the campus, as well as operational and staffing aspects of the program(s) as well as other duties as assigned.
This position is an on-campus position. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without need now or in the future for sponsorship for employment visa status.

Required:
Bachelor’s Degree
Work experience in student activities, student leadership or engagement, or a non-profit or community engagement setting (or equivalent). (Education may be included.)
Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities, including the ability to work across complex organizations, manage change, and direct student employees
Knowledge of and experience with student services to enhance the student experience
Ability to make presentations in front of audiences of varying sizes
Ability to cultivate meaningful relationships with students, faculty, staff, and external constituencies, and to to work with a diverse group of people and the skills to deal with all audiences in a prompt, professional and courteous manner that well represents the University
Ability to perform managerial responsibilities (planning, assessment, evaluation)
Ability to work nights and some weekends
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment at all times and in all contexts and maintain confidentiality
Preferred:
Master’s Degree
Knowledge of best practices and trends with regard to young adult civic engagement
Knowledge of student development theories/practice with appreciation/passion for holistic integration and culturally relevant student engagement models
Demonstrated commitment to the intellectual, professional, and personal development of a diverse student body
Experience working on a college campus
Experience in supervision of program management
Experience in civic engagement, community change, or the non-profit sector
Certified in American Red Cross CPR, AED, & First Aid
