Student Intern- Supply Chain - with Great Benefits

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Reviews and analyses purchase and inventory detail. Designs and implements processes to reduce complexity and increase efficiencies through standardization.
• Refines request formats to provide enhanced service to end-users.
• Maintains procedures, documentation, and workflows.
• Monitors compliance with standardized methods.
• Provides input/feedback regarding modifications and improvements and process changes and identifies potential problem areas recommending solutions to increase efficiency and cost savings.
• Responsible for sourcing and purchase documentation of urgently required medications and supplies. Verifies the accuracy of the month-end inventory prior to the Director’s review. Assists with product recall protocols.
• Participates in month-end analysis of Purchasing & Logistics processes to provide feedback regarding modifications/improvements, process improvements, problems identified.
• Work with Purchasing and Logistics Team on all projects as assigned.

EDUCATION

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or engineering preferred.
• APICS certification a preferred (CPIM or CSCP)

EXPERIENCE

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Demonstrated ability to define, implement, and manage Supply Chain workflows, protocols and ensure standardization.
