The Student Ministry Leader - Systems & Operations partners with the Teaching Pastor in a split-leadership model to serve Fusion at the Lee's Summit Campus. This role focuses on building and maintaining operational systems, follow-up processes, budgets, and logistics for teens and volunteers, while collaborating closely with the Teaching Pastor—who owns primary teaching, relational shepherding, and spiritual care.
Together, they provide comprehensive leadership for Fusion, requiring weekly synergy meetings, clear role handoffs (e.g., teaching vision handoff to systems execution), and unified communication to ensure no teen goes unseen. This position holds primary oversight for recruiting, developing, and training Student Leaders and volunteers; VIP Experience logistics, Student Leadership Team deployment, Sunday Morning Team coordination, and all operational teams needed to execute Late Nights at Fusion.

Leadership and communication skills are required. Success in this role will require a highly relational leader who can lead leaders and manage projects. This role will mandate a person who can think structurally in building/maintaining systems of outreach and growth. Training up leaders and then releasing ministry to them will be essential for success in this position.
