Job Description
MCCCD – Rio Salado Community College is seeking a Student Services Technician to join the Student Engagement and Recruitment Team (SERT). This role is 100% onsite in Tempe, AZ and is central to supporting the college’s strategic enrollment goals.
The Student Services Technician will be responsible for high-touch outreach, relationship-building, and student engagement designed to increase enrollment and ensure smooth onboarding for new students. Acting as a student-centered resource, you will guide individuals from their initial inquiry through successful enrollment.
Responsibilities
- Support college enrollment goals through proactive student outreach.
- Build relationships with prospective students to foster engagement.
- Assist students through the onboarding process from inquiry to enrollment.
- Represent the college with professionalism and a student-first approach.
- Collaborate with the SERT team to ensure seamless student experiences.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in student services, enrollment, or outreach roles preferred.
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple student interactions with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Local candidates only — must be available for in-person interviews within 1 week of posting close date and able to start within 2 weeks of offer.
