Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Student Services specialist to join our team! As a Student Services specialist, you will directly interact with students and parents and communicate about their students' progress, conduct surveys, and assist in improving their overall experience. This communication needs to be done both in English and Mandarin, as many clients have bilingual households. You will also be working closely with other departments and providing feedback to other teams to ensure the best student experience possible. The ideal candidate has strong communication and interpersonal skills, experience working in a similar capacity.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement goals and processes to help each department stay on the same page, and best serve our clientele

Understand the organization 's philosophy, offerings, and policies to communicate with parents and students in a professional manner

Provide consultation and recommendations to parents and students for students' advancement and achieving their goals

Supervise and guide students in tests and practices

Document processes, policies and procedures for consistent services

Qualifications

Bilingual in English and Mandarin

Previous experience as a Student Services specialist or equivalent role desired

Strong interpersonal skills

Experience managing expectations and goals, and improving behavioral outcomes of students

Extensive knowledge of the issues many students are facing today

The ability to set both short and long-term, realistic goals

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Areteem Institute is a private secondary school that offers both a full time high school program, or stand-alone enrichment classes for a variety of interests and uses. The full program employs the use of innovative online classes, Intensive 6 Week On Campus programs (at institutions like Yale), and academic Internships.
