Student Support Service Coordinator - AOE International

Description

AOE International is a non-profit organization focused on community support and development, with a strong emphasis on workforce development and education. We partner with various organizations to address social needs, including poverty, access to resources, and educational opportunities.

The Student Support Service Coordinator provides wraparound support services that ensure participant success, including barrier reduction planning, referrals, and retention support. Works closely with the instructional team to create a trauma-informed, equity-centered learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage intake and assessments of participant needs.

· Coordinate stipends, transportation, childcare, and other supports.

· Track attendance and flag retention risks.

· Refer students to mental health, legal aid, or housing services as needed.

· Serve as the first point of contact for crisis management and coaching.

Requirements

Bachelor’s in Social Work, Counseling, or Education

Experience with wraparound supports and trauma-informed practices;

Strong coordination and communication skills.
