The Studio Manager will be responsible for managing all A/V team projects and personnel locally at the Ontario location.
This involves overseeing the development, production, post-production, distribution and archival phases of all audio, video and photography assets and resources.
Works with coordinators to prioritize projects, set ambitious timelines and establish project requirements for the team.
Works with the Store Manager and corporate marketing department to ensure creative vision.
Works with other departments and contractors as needed.
Communication centerpiece for Marketing, Merchandising, Visual, and Warehouse departments.
Performing work with the least amount of disruption to regular flow of business.
Working with in-house camera and audio equipment to record produce videos, instructional videos, interviews, audio recordings, studio and staged photography, etc.
Studio and Staged lighting and sound setup.
Maintenance of all equipment.
Digital archives preservation and repurposing.
Frequently re-prioritize, evolve techniques and solutions as needed.
Multiple internal and external studios and shoot locations.
Overall customer satisfaction (executives and owners).
Employee performance appraisals.
Interviewing, hiring, etc. with Studio employees.
Upholding photography standards.
Takes creative direction from Corporate A/V Team.
Other duties as directed by management.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Experience as a producer/editor shooting and editing video preferred.
Demonstrated technical, creative and professional expertise with a deep commitment to quality and attention to detail.
Expert-level experience using Adobe Creative Suite and/or FCP with experience in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and compression programs.
Experience with animation and motion graphics.
Working knowledge of current industry standard audio/video file formats.
Understanding of the video pre-production, production, and post-production process.
Able to demonstrate professionalism under pressure.
A team player and enjoy a collaborative team environment.
Physical Requirements: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
Heavy Work: Lifting up to 15 lbs. occasionally.
Work Environment: Indoor climate-controlled environment; some outdoor work necessary.
