Study Hall Aide

SUMMARY:

• Monitor study hall periods and provide academic support to students.
• Location: Susquenita High School
• Schedule: 7:30am - 2:30pm
• Work on all student days during the academic calendar year (180 days).
• The hourly pay rate for a Study Hall Aide is $16 per hour.
• 5 days of Paid Time Off (PTO). PTO prorated based on date of hire.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise students during study hall periods, maintaining a quiet and focused environment conducive to learning. 
• Provide student support with assignments, answer student questions, and refer students to appropriate resources (e.g., teachers, counselors). 
• Foster an environment that encourages proper student behavior.
• Address student misconduct according to building procedures and notify relevant Administrators and faculty members .
• Manage the entry and exit of students from the supervised areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalency
• Prior public-school experience and/or working with school-aged children in a licensed, certified, or registered provider setting - preferred

• PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
• PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
• PA Department of Education FBI
• TB Screening
• Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
