STV Driver

Seeking individuals dedicated to working with children with disabilities. Applicants must pass physical, CT, Federal and DCF background checks and demonstrate excellent communication skills in English. Being punctual and consistent is a must. You must have a "V" endorsement OR 3 years CT driving and the ability to obtain DMV endorsement (NO CDL required). Those without a V endorsement can apply as school van monitor. Haven will provide all training required to qualified individuals. We transport school children to and from school throughout CT. Haven Transportation LLC offers safe and expedient transportation of students to and from school. Drivers are to build cooperative relationships between children, parents, teachers and administrators that will foster a positive relationship among all involved. Providing professional transportation to all special needs students.

Job Duties:

• Comprehensive knowledge of driving, safety, laws and courtesy as they pertain to student transportation


• Ability to maintain effective behavior management systems over different age groups of students

• Maintain, read and understand routes/schedules and maps, including notifying supervisor of any time or route changes


• Inspect vehicles for daily usage and correctly complete DVIR report before each trip


• Properly care for vehicles and equipment

Job Requirements:

• 21 years or older


• Must have held a valid driver's license for three consecutive years


• Pass DOT Physical Exam


• Be able to pass a drug test


• No criminal record


• No DCF active history
