AECOM Hunt is seeking an experience finance/accounting professional for a Subcontractor Prequalification Specialist position to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.

• Performs professional level accounting support, related to the most complex accounting tasks. 

• Advanced level within the scope of the position. 

• Works independently and requires very minimal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS Accounting/Finance or related curriculum and 4 years of experience in finance/accounting or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Requirements:

• Accounting experience from A/E/C strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting
• Experience in project accounting
• Experience with CMIC or COMPASS or other database systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction related contracts.  
• Excellent organization and analytical skills
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with MS Office products
• Accounting and or Finance background and experience in the construction industry preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with subcontractors.
• Basic knowledge of CSI codes and associated scope risk.
• Ability to analyze and present data for the purpose of evaluation by providing basic insights of analytics, identifying red flags or areas needing additional information
