Our Commercial Roofing Department is growing, and we are seeking a detail-oriented Submittals Coordinator to join our team and ensure projects are documented, compliant, and ready for successful execution.

Position Summary
The Submittals Coordinator plays a vital role in the commercial roofing project process, managing the creation, organization, and submission of project documentation to clients, architects, and general contractors. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit submittal packages for commercial roofing projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and manufacturers to obtain accurate product data, shop drawings, and samples.
• Ensure all submittals meet contract specifications, building codes, and client requirements.
• Track submittal progress, approvals, and revisions to maintain project timelines.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for all submittal documentation.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies or obtain missing information.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction administration, submittals, or a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial roofing systems and materials a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and PDF editing tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
