What We're Looking For:   We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide counseling and support to individuals struggling with substance use disorders, helping them to achieve and maintain recovery. This role requires a strong understanding of addiction, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to client-centered care. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
• Facilitate one-on-one and group counseling sessions.
• Educate clients and their families about substance abuse, recovery strategies, and coping mechanisms.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, social workers, and community resources to ensure comprehensive care.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must hold a current license or certification in Indiana (e.g. LAC, LCAC, LSW, LCSW, LMHC, CADC, LPC).  
• Has a minimum of 1-year experience in the treatment of behavioral health/substance abuse disorder.
